"Pupu's Memories"

Pupu's blurry brown eyes weren't a birth defect; when Pupu was a kitten, he became critically ill with an eye infection that spread to his ears, nearly killing him. Only a faint breath remained, and his body was stiff, but little Pupu's (about 1 month old) will to live was strong – he could still drink. At that moment, I gave him herbal medicine, thinking he had jaundice, a common ailment in cats. Miraculously, Pupu could move his head again. Upon examination, I found a severe eye infection that had penetrated his ears, though his eyes seemed fine. Pupu, a neighborhood cat, came to me with severe eye problems, and after treatment, I thought he was healed. But very quickly, his condition deteriorated, leading me to suspect jaundice. Only after focusing on treating his eye and ear infection for an extended period did his condition improve. In his weakened state, Pupu was cared for by another cat with a severe cold, and the cold's droplets landed on Pupu's left eye, causing it to close. His eyes weren't blind; with regular cleaning, the cold gradually cleared, but before his eyes fully recovered, Pupu was taken away by a tragic accident. His age is around 6 months. Goodbye, Pupu, forever.

The kitten's Pupu photos from that time and details of its care have not yet been found. The illustration above shows little Pupu at about 1 month old, on the day she came into our home for the first time. Photos of Pupu are not for sale, they are only for remembrance.
